English version
In Torshi, the body of Land, memory ferments through ritual and intimate storytelling. This multidisciplinary and multilingual play/performance invites the audience to interact and participate as part of the ritual of creating pickles, where vegetables become words, and salt and vinegar become the intention to preserve our memories of physical and metaphorical home. Making Iranian-style pickles becomes an act of resistance, mourning, celebrating, and a response to the noise of war. Through poetry and shared gestures, communities gather to echo what conflict cannot erase: the taste of home, hope, and freedom.
