This summer, the Feldversuche Symposium returns for its sixth edition, bringing together local and international artists to explore the relationships between food systems, ecology, and urban development through site-specific artistic practice.
From 17 July to 2 August 2026, invited artists Amanda Piña, Carlos Monleón, Gabriel Huth, LI Yuchen, and Tomash Schoiswohl live and work at Kleine Stadtfarm, Vienna’s largest urban farming project. Located between the Danube-Auen National Park, agricultural land, and emerging urban districts, the farm provides a unique setting for artistic inquiry into socially and ecologically sustainable cities.
The works developed during the residency will be presented in a free public exhibition on 1–2 August 2026. Visitors are invited to experience the artworks alongside curator-led tours, artist talks, live performances, music, and food provided by the initiatives that make up the Kleine Stadtfarm community.
