Attempting to reconnect

Home is fleeting. One enters a space, transforms it, dreams in it, and, at the end of the show, leaves it. A space connected to one’s presence and absence, continuously shifting between moment and memory.
The former Funkhaus, a place of (radio) transmission throughout history, has become a temporary home for artists and initiatives in recent months. On April 26th, as part of the Resonances exhibition, this transient moment is captured through a medium that exists only here and now––performance. Each artist, whether they’ve just arrived, is on their way out or caught in between, invokes a room of their own through individual narratives, sounds and bodies.
