Visit to the Studio and Meeting with Artist Andreas Fogarasi

This event offers Ukrainian artists and cultural professionals a unique opportunity to visit Andreas Fogarasi’s studio, explore his works, and engage in a discussion about his artistic approach and professional journey.

Andreas Fogarasi (*1977, Vienna) works across installation, architectural interventions, sculpture, video, and photography, focusing on the acts of display and representation. His art, influenced by minimalist and conceptual movements, seamlessly blends a documentary approach with an autonomous sculptural form. Notable accolades include the Golden Lion for his exhibition in the Hungarian Pavilion at the 52nd Venice Biennale (2007) and the Otto Mauer Prize (2016).

Solo exhibitions include (among others): Kunsthalle Wien, Georg Kargl Fine Arts (Vienna), Proyectos Monclova (Mexico City), Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst (Leipzig), Museum Haus Konstruktiv (Zurich), Prefix Institute of Contemporary Art (Toronto), Museo Reina Sofia (Madrid), Ludwig Forum (Aachen), MAK (Vienna).
