Weaving Time

This exhibition presents a profound exploration of time’s non-linear, gendered dimensions through the works of Miriam Bajtala, Ebru Kurbak, Jelena Micić, and Maria Walcher. This exhibition examines the layers of memory, labor, and resilience in marginalized experiences, offering an alternative to the linear, capitalist concept of time.

As a gallery, we are always on the lookout for voices that expand the possibilities of contemporary art, and independent experimental spaces are a rich source of emerging talent. Vienna, with over 75 such spaces, is a particular treasure. For Vienna ArtWeek, we chose to collaborate with Deniz, a curator from our neighboring Fabrikraum Kunstverein, as a way to encourage more partnerships between established galleries and Vienna’s vigorous experimental art scene.
