The Sexbots

The Sexbots is the nom de guerre for Ilima Considine- a 5-foot tall, half-Chinese, ex-Catholic schoolgirl who brings you electronica that is as intelligent as it is uninhibited. Her work charts the emotional inner world of a woman caught between desire and regret with unflinching honesty. Sonically, it melds hiphop beats with an unforgettable voice- like Bjork meets Portishead. Her stage presence verges on performance art and her work has received support from both the Oregon Arts Commission and the Regional Arts and Culture Council.
