100 Uccelli

“100 Vögel” ist das Ergebnis einer Warteperiode, die durch das abrupte Ende meines Kunstprojekts LIFE/DEATH/LIFE begann.
Plötzlich muss ich mein Projekt wegen der Jagdperiode abbrechen.
Die Vögel sind weiter gezogen, die Schüsse der Jäger hallen noch durch die Luft.
Plötzlich muss ich warten. Die Vögel fliegen weg und ich stehe still.
Der Grund der Lagune ist wie ein Uterus, eine primitive Gebärmutter in der ich ausharre. Der Geruch des Schlamms der Lagune bleibt in meiner Nase. Dieser Geruch ist die olfaktorisch Ebene meiner Installation.

“100 Vögel” ist ein Projekt, das sich aus “LAGOON” entwickelte und selbständig machte.In Wien wird der erste Teil gezeigt, in der Lagune von Ravenna wird der zweite und eigentliche Hauptteil im Juni 2016 eröffnet.

100 UCELLI is the result of a waiting caused by the an suddenly closing of my art project, that I associate to the process LIFE/DEATH/LIFE.

Birds have migrated, also because the hunt period, leaving only the sound of the shootings; I?m feeling like them, trapped waiting for another beginning: LIFE.
The ground, the lagoon are like an uterus, a primordial womb in which you wait. Suddenly, I must stop my research also because the hunt period.
I only have the smell of swamp land that I carry with me, in this installation, with the function of olfactory memory.

100 UCELLI is a work born inside my art project ?Lagoon? which will be an installation of my sculptures inside the ?Pialassa Baiona?, Ravenna (IT) in an exhibition visible on a boat.

This research inside this particular lagoon?s environment of transition?s water, day by day, brought me to live all its shades: the movement of the tides, the birds watching and the fisherman?s activity.

The vegetation around is a ideal habitat for many kinds of birds that nest it. In fact, there are migratory birds and not. Under the water, in a seabed sediment, they find their place both native and non-native species from distant seas.
