Raw Matters

Monday, October the 18th will be one of the last times for Raw Matters to use the beautiful stage of Le Studio - Film und Bühne c/o Studio Molière before it has to close its doors at the end of the year. We will move on, so come and join us, celebrate these last evenings here with us and most importantly support the artists in their processes:
Stina Fors will be sharing the continuation of her process „A mouthful of tongues“ which she started in the frame of the Raw Matters Tender Steps Residency last year and in „Sevdah of lost identity“ Sanja Lasic searches for ways to heal her experience of forced displacement and otherness through a modern interpretation of Sevdalinka song from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In „Cadaver Equis“ Daniela Hanelová will be reviving the provocative personality of a Czech avant-garde painter Toyen (1902-1980) and Flora Boros and Adela Maharani will create a parallel universe between their projection of the future and the current reality with their work in progress „Welcome back to 2089!“ while Jeanne Lakits dives into the difficulty of the encounter between dance and physics together with the physicist Lovorka Gajovic.
