Sine Hansen: Spannungszangen

EXILE is pleased to invite you to the opening of an exhibition of works by German artist Sine Hansen (1942-2009) entitled Spannungszangen. This second solo exhibition takes its title from a series of works created by the artist between 1974 and 1979 and is accompanied by a text from Camila McHugh.

Following the opening of Sine Hansen in Vienna, we are happy to announce the opening of our second venue in the German city of Erfurt, Thuringia on March 18, 2023 with a solo exhibition of works by Hansen’s late husband Jobst Meyer (1940-2017) entitled Konstruktionen der Neunziger. EXILE Erfurt is a new exhibition space presenting four exhibitions per year that focus on politically engaged artistic positions.
