Colin Vickers, originally from England, set up his photostudio in Vienna’s 7th district in 2009 and has since been producing fine art photography. ‘Stripes’ is the end result of a 2-year journey into contouring and shaping the curves of the human body using straight parallel lines and is the follow-up to his 2014 exhibition ‘Lines of Curvature’. Each line describes a journey of intersections, each line traces a path that cannot be understood
alone. It is only when we bring multiple paths together that the individual paths gain meaning. And so it is with life.
