Women Groundbreakers

33 portraits of inspiring women will be unveiled on May 7th as part of a charity exhibition and 4-day cultural programme organised by Vienna-based artist Anya Vero and supported by the Jane Goodall Institute Austria.

The exhibition highlights the importance of female role models, both for adults and children, and celebrates the lives and works of the women in the paintings, who include Hedy Lamarr, Lise Meitner, and Jane Goodall herself.

From May 7th to 10th, the paintings will grace the walls of Inside.Out gallery in Vienna’s 7th District. Events include workshops run by the Institute on Jane Goodall’s life, parent and children workshops and drawing sessions, a specially curated vernissage hosted with the Jane Goodall Institute Austria and Sheconomy on 7th May, a charity concert on the 9th and a charity salsa night on the 10th.
