Theater Talk: Methods of Documentary Theatre

Theater of Contemporary Dialogue is a theatre project from Poltava (Ukraine) that uses performing arts as a tool for social dialogue and reflection. At the core of its work are documentary theatre forms: performances, readings, and performative projects based on interviews, research, and sociological data, aiming to make pressing social issues visible. The team addresses challenges such as the integration of internally displaced people, inclusion, information manipulation, and the impact of the everyday reality of war on people’s lives.

In February, TCD will present its work (Not) Eden’s Garden in Vienna. You have the opportunity to meet the team and learn about their working methodology on February 16th, at 18:00 at ZAVADSKI (Burggasse 67).
