Tender Matter is bringing together two solo violin works by transdisciplinary artists Billy Steiger (UK) and Tony Wagner (AT). Billy Steiger’s “The Exploded Violin pt.2”, a four-channel live sound-installation, turns the space into an unrealistically large violin that the audience notionally inhabits. Tony Wagner is continuing his artistic research set on somatic sound practices, performing the pure noise piece “Pre-Raphaelites, daughter, mother, son”.
Both pieces are Vienna premieres.
