TENDER MATTER PRESENTS: LA TIMPA, LAUREN DUFFUS, SNAKE BOOTS, YI-UM COLLECTIVE

Tender Matter presents its first full live music and performance program of the year, inviting you to an early summer evening at das weisse haus Vienna with new works shown by musicians LA Timpa, Lauren Duffus, Snake Boots and performance collective Yi-um.

LA Timpa is a Nigerian-born Canadian songwriter, singer, musician, producer and visual artist based in New York. He has released five albums, most recently IOX via avant-garde music pioneer Lolina’s label, Relaxin Records.

London-based producer and vocalist Lauren Duffus will introduce her remarkable new EP Can’s Gone Warm (2025) for the first time in Vienna, somehow liminal, heavily textured and fractured, feeling like a gaze that can stop time itself.

Tender Matter’s own genre-defying duo Snake Boots (musicians and artists Karo Preuschl and Tony Wagner), is presenting its debut record The Garten (2025) in a specially designed performance, merging analog synth, violin and vocals into psychic theatrics.

Joining the music program in a motion based gesture, Korean Vienna-based Yi-um Collective will show Sunset Virus (2025), a performance piece about the infectious aspect of illusions, linking connection and becoming. Sunset Virus is premiering at Tender Matter Presents, custom-made for this program.
