MEMORIES CAN´T WAIT

Kalina Horon’s recent paintings signal a decisive inner turning: after years of navigating pop imagery and episodic geometric forms, her work arrives at a quieter, more resonant maturity. The canvas functions like a score, where colour and line establish relations rather than narratives, and where sense emerges through rhythm, pause and vibration rather than depiction.

These works maintain a fragile equilibrium between sign and meaning, presence and suspension. Curved forms cling, descend, dissolve; silence opens beneath them without

anxiety, free of horror vacui. In this intervallic space, Horon’s painting does not ask to be seen, but to be experienced—less as an image than as a state of attentive listening.
