In his new solo show “The Unbearable Lightness of Being” Spencer Chalk-Levy showcases his new series of minis “The Grasshopper” alongside his recent large-format works reflecting on society, togetherness, the “lightness” and the “heaviness” of our reciprocal being. At the heart of the show is a striking large format tapestry, a signature of his practice, inviting us to encounter all facets of his artistic journey, which unfolds the story of Spencer’s recent years in Vienna.
