Šnek
Opening: November 21, 7 pm
The joint exhibition of Šárka Koudelová and Martin Chramosta plays
with the interpretation of the Czech word and its phonetic proximity
to its german equivalent. Šnek - a vertiginous movement, a shell, a
hideaway, a symbol of exponential growth, a two-way path of
self-consuming introspection or outreaching creation. Šnek can reflect
the trajectory of our attention during endless scrolling, yet it is a
subtle homage to the ornament of an archaic world that enables us to
decoratively veil the inevitable transience.
Šárka Koudelová ( ⃰ 1987) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in
Prague and at AkBild in Vienna. Combining roles of artist and curator,

social themes. Exhibited at GAMPA in Pardubice; Pragovka Gallery and
PRÁM in Prague; Fait Gallery in Brno; ZVE Gallery in Bratislava;
Sonneundsolche in Düsseldorf. Her works are part of many private and
public collections.

Basel. Further studies at freie Klasse at AkBild as well as teaching
