out of hand

To work out of hand is to accept risk: a surrender to instinct and skill. Like feeding an animal from the palm, the act of making carries both trust and danger. This exhibition brings together four artists trained in the Graphics class of the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna. Their works explore a range of media and artistic processes circling around paper and drawing techniques. The results include a traffic jam, World War III and IV, dogs!, a body full of lungs and a magical bottle.
