Open Reading Group

Kevin is hosting an afternoon of reading and discussion focused on On context (2025), a work by Luisa Berghammer currently presented as part of her exhibition not-me at Kevin.

The work brings together a constellation of textual excerpts that function as a discursive framework for the exhibition. The reading group will collectively explore these texts in relation to the exhibition and broader questions of cultural production and contextualisation.

The texts are in English, but the conversation may switch between English and German, depending on the group’s preference. We recommend reading the texts in advance to prepare for the session; however, please feel welcome to join regardless of how far you’ve read – or even if you haven’t read at all, as we will also be reading together. Silent listeners are warmly encouraged.
