Element skateboards and Crunchtime records have teamed up to prove that art on skateboards don’t necessarily have to be hung on a wall. This summer crunchtime artists painted 30 skateboard decks in Vienna. The decks were mounted together and painted on as a collaborative piece. The result, individual skateboards painted by some super talented artists! Usually when this happens the decks start selling for outrageous prices and the only thing you would want to do with them is display them. but the concept from the beginning was that these decks should get a chance to see the gray cement below them as it rolls by. For that reason the decks were sold at the Sneakerness convention for a mere 50 euros!
Since skateboarding is an art in its own respect, the skaters have now added their part of the collaboration and its time to exhibit these new art works! Element, Crunchtime and INOPERAbLE invite you to come by for a one day event to see the skateboards, get some new ones, and see some making of photos and videos. If that’s not enough we will be offering you Gluhwein to keep you warm as the temperature drops.
Remember this is a one day only event. After Saturday you won’t get to see these again! It will also be your last chance to get some stocking stuffers, or perhaps a heavy item to throw at important political figures (sorry we are all out of milan duomo statues).
