Angela Wiedermann lives and works in vienna.
In her work she tries to depict her utopian phantasies, dwells in megalomania, explores her personal stereotypical mindmaps, and plays with her own identity, constantly drifting between reality and fiction.
FAMILY ALBUM is sequel or belated preliminary investigation to the project DROWINING IN A SEA OF POSSIBILITIES, NICELY, in which Wiedermann created 77 anagrammatic alter egos out of her own name and wrote down their stories.
FAMILY ALBUM tries to recover the images that have collided to the once created stories. The result of this hunt via google images is presented on the pages of family album.
