The first solo exhibition of the young artist Kweku Okukuseko. An exhibition that bids to present an embodiment of African culture, into paintings of vivid expressions. Kweku Okukuseku is a Ghanian artist and painter, born and raised in Skukura, a small town in the greater Accra region of Ghana. On a mission of profound self-expression Kweku Okukuseku employs paintings as an extended mouthpiece of himself through which he speaks a language he describes as his highest self and purest form of communication.
We seek to counteract the underrepresentation of black creatives in the arts. We support a just and inclusive culture and want to fuel cultural diversity in the district, to support a positive social and political change.
