So I decided to portray Obregon. I decided to hire myself once more—and exorcise some daddy issues that were tormenting me those days. It was worth it because it was a fair exchange between us. And afterall I was in a desperate search of an icon, a maestro.
Jim C. Nedd (b. 1991) is a Colombian-Italian artist who works predominantly with photography and music, exploring the space between fiction and documentary. Fusing intimate and reflective moments from daily life with dreamlike and surreal elements, Nedd transforms the figures and landscapes of his surroundings into poetic works woven with recurring themes—often inspired by collective memory, shared experiences, and his Caribbean heritage.
