It all began with graffiti

Iskren Semkov began painting as graffiti artist. This exhibition is a personal story based on memories, impressions, graffiti sketches, street art projects bent through the artist’s imagination and reproduced in delicate compositions with trompe l’oeil technique. His contemporary realism is influenced from the old masters’ technique mixed with ideas bearing the spirit of today.
