House of Skin’s debut album ‘house of skin’ is a 9-track exploration of dub-infused sound alchemy. The Vienna-based musician draws on both acoustic recordings and digital instruments, crafting a visceral sound design with a backdrop of subtle gestures, phantasmic textures, and warped rhythmical experiments. Unexpectedly, the voice, though often highly synthesized and unrecognizable, becomes a core element throughout certain tracks on the album. His debut album ‘house of skin’ is a shapeshifting, submerged hollow, stretching into the present tense, that halts linearity and pushes you into sideways time.
