From the Off of Public Space
Presentation and Discussion
The concept of Off-Spaces deals with proportions of power
that are articulated in claims of space. The presentation of
artworks in public spaces can sometimes mean strategic
action in systematic structures. Which are the aesthetic strategies
used to intervene and subvert the dominant conditions
of such spaces? Activistic art workers living in different cities
present their projects and talk about questions that arise when
public space and art space converge.
