Eugen Wist: Systemic Enjoyment

Eugen Wist (b. 1989, USSR) is an artist working in Berlin and Vienna. He graduated from the University of Applied Arts Vienna under Hans Schabus, and from the Städelschule in Frankfurt, where he studied under Laure Prouvost, Wu Tsang, and Gerard Byrne. His childhood migration from Siberia to Germany was a turn of fate that leaves a trace throughout his practice. Wist fuses an array of materials, transforming elements like silver leaf, organic matter, and tin.
