“Conversation with Stones” examines stones as an archive and a method for active association. The exhibition tackles society’s ways of remembering and asks which stories dominate in historical interpretations.

Which material traces are left behind by lost epochs? What can we learn by engaging with these traces through interpretative archaeology? How will we start writing the history of our times? What if stones could talk?

These are a few of the leading questions for this exhibition bringing us to current times and the troubles the world is facing. What kind of layer will we add? How do we relate to layers before us, and what will we give to future generations?
