We’re back with our Embroidery Club!
This time, we’re bringing threads, stories, and conversations together around the topic of menstruation.
For this session, we’re experimenting with a new format: each gathering will have a focus topic we explore while stitching (or simply being together).
On 23.05.25 at 16:00, we’ll meet to talk about:
How does menstruation feel for those who menstruate?
What meanings are placed on it, and which aren’t?
How do culture, politics, and social norms shape how we experience menstruation?
Our guest Lucia, who researches menstrual health from a feminist perspective, will gently guide us through this conversation. Together, we’ll try body mapping as a way to explore and share our personal experiences and better understand the biological, emotional, and social layers of menstruation.
Whether this conversation inspires your embroidery, or you just want to stitch something else, or not stitch at all — everything is welcome. This is a space for rest, creativity, and collective healing.
All genders welcome. No prior experience needed. Just bring yourself.
When: 23.05.25, 16:00
Where: Amerlinghaus (Raum 4)
Let’s create a space where care, craft, and conversation come together.
