„Songs of the Partisan Women“ ist ein mehrsprachiger, musikalischer Erzählspaziergang über Widerstand, Partisaninnen und darüber, was es bedeutet, allen Widrigkeiten zum Trotz Widerstand zu leisten. Es ist zugleich eine Aufführung über Stärke und Mut.
Poetisch, einfühlsam und bewegend vereint sie die Geschichten von Widerstandskämpferinnen aus Frankreich, Litauen und der Ukraine, vom Zweiten Weltkrieg bis in die Gegenwart. Die Geschichten werden von Liedern und Musik aus der ukrainischen Folklore begleitet.

Cie la Fausta ist ein 2018 von Ariane Pawin gegründeter Verein für Geschichtenerzählen. Er entwickelt poetische und tiefgründige Shows, die die Fantasie anregen und den Blick für andere Kulturen öffnen. „Songs of the Partisan Women“ ist eine internationale Performance, die von drei Künstlerinnen aus Europa – aus Frankreich, Litauen und der Ukraine – geschaffen wurde. Sie wird vom französischen und litauischen Institut, dem litauischen Kulturrat, der Stadt Paris und mehreren Erzählvereinen aus Frankreich unterstützt. Das 2024 entstandene Stück tourt seitdem durch Frankreich, Litauen und Europa.

“Songs of the Partisan Women” is a multilingual and musical storytelling walk about resistance, women fighters and what it means to resist against all odds. It’s also a show about strength and courage.
Poetic, sensitive and moving, it combines the stories of women fighters from France, Lithuania and Ukraine, from World War 2 to the present day. The stories are accompanied by songs and music coming from Ukrainian folklore and music.

Cie la Fausta is a storytelling association founded by Ariane Pawin in 2018. It inventes poetic and profound shows that stimulate the imagination and open minds to other cultures.
“Songs of the Partisan Women” is an international performance created by three women artists from Europe : from France, Lithuania and Ukraine. It is supported by the French and the Lithuanian Institute, the Lithuanian Cultural Council, the City of Paris and several storytelling structures from France. Created in 2024, It has toured France, Lithuania and Europe since then.
