Please join us for the openings of Chapter 1. Concealmentwith works by Alex Macedo and Nazira Karimi at KINO MANHATTAN on Wednesday March 6, 2024 from 6-9pm.
Chapter 1. is the first part of a series of three exhibitions-followed by Chapter 2. Refusal and Chapter 3. Doubling-that will unfold over the course of the year.
Uniting all three exhibitions is a sense of evasive visibility, different strategies of subverting, avoiding, reflecting or refusing to be seen.
Nazira Karimi’s Hazm Kardan Dushvor Ast will open at the same time at KINO MANHATTAN.
Nazira Karimi will show three films- Hazm Kardan Dushvor Ast, Apat and Izdeu-at KINO MANHATTAN in dialogue with the three part exhibition series at the gallery.
