“Black Out” is a collective exploring the possibilities of action on the fine line between artistic practice and direct political action. It works with meanings displaced by dominant cultural narratives, descending to the periphery of the collective imaginary for its redescription and transformation into poetic semiotics.
At the exhibition, we want to talk about how the ideology of the unjust is connected with the cult of nature.
“Black Out” is an art collective created by artists from St. Petersburg Valeria Lakrisenko and Alexander Belov. Valeria Lakrisenko (pseudonym FarFor) is engaged in street political art at the intersection of actionism and modern philosophy. Alexander Belov is an artist working with painting and graphics, street performance.
