The International Cultural Diversity Organization (ICDO), in collaboration with AC, Art & Culture, presents Belonging Across Borders - Art as a Bridge for Memory and Reconciliation as part of the Long Nights of Interculturality 2026 in Vienna.
At the heart of ICDO’s work is the belief that culture can create spaces for dialogue, understanding and meaningful connection between people. Bringing together around 40 artists from diverse cultural backgrounds, this exhibition reflects that mission through artistic perspectives on belonging, identity, memory, migration and cultural heritage. Through painting, sculpture, textile and photography, the artists explore home, displacement and human connection in Vienna - a city itself shaped by generations of migration and cultural exchange.
This year, selected artworks are also available for purchase, extending the impact of the exhibition beyond the gallery. Proceeds are shared between the artists and ICDO, supporting both the artists themselves and ICDO’s humanitarian, social development, cultural and community-based work.
Through Belonging Across Borders, we invite visitors to experience art as a bridge - connecting people and cultures, giving visibility to diverse voices and transforming creative expression into meaningful social impact.
