7 days of uninterrupted television programming (24/7),
broadcast live at the WAF Gallery and online.

ARG TV is a project at the intersection of art, cinema, and linear television. Starting Sunday, October 5, 2025, at 8 p.m., it will broadcast for one week from WAF Galerie in Vienna.

The program of ARG TV is at once overwhelming and radically reduced: 168 hours of uninterrupted programming – but always one film, one video, one clip after the other. We free the audience from the agony of choice. For one week, it is once again like traditional television: if you want to see and hear something, you have to tune in at the right time – or dust off the video recorder.

Classics are shown alongside recent festival winners, new works by emerging filmmakers, and renowned names from the art world. There are also in-house productions, such as a teleshopping format or the dadaist talk show The Weekend Show. All of it is allowed to coexist – side by side, one after another.

ARG TV streams on www.arg.world to anyone ready to receive it, leaving the choice of device entirely open. Where the program travels is up to all of us: the selected films and videos may briefly leave their usual contexts and appear just as much in the home cinema as in the waiting room – or on audiovisual objects we don’t even know yet.
