Of Tenderness and Time is the first major Austrian exhibition of French photographer Alexandra Catiere, whose work is marked by a rare sensitivity to human presence and time. Bringing together photographs from different periods, the show reflects on intimacy, memory, and the quiet gestures that reveal the tenderness and transience of everyday life.
Winner of the Camera Clara Prize 2024, Alexandra Catiere is known for her sensitive and timeless photographic vision. A graduate of the International Center of Photography in New York, she has exhibited internationally, including at Musée de l’Elysée (Lausanne) and Maison Européenne de la Photographie (Paris).
Parallel Program:
As part of the exhibition, Kramer Gallery will host a mono performance by Maria Kobzar, based on short stories by Ivan Bunin – Antonov Apples and Tanya.
The performance, directed by Tatiana Kocherzhinskaya, with music by Evgeny Borets and costumes by Svetlana Tegin, brings to life Bunin’s reflections on memory, love, and time.
