Agency is a publishing initiative founded by Andrés Ramírez Gaviria, Elisabeth Kihlström and Yuki Higashino in 2021 and based in Vienna.
Agency will be published annually and offer both textual and visual contributions dedicated to a specific theme. The first issue of Agency examines the notion of Travel.
When understood as both a physical and mental displacement, traveling is the desire to wander, sometimes aimlessly, from one locale, one point of view or state of being to another. To decide to travel is making the decision to seek change. It is the decision to embark on a journey of hope, even in the face of uncertainty and the knowledge that no trip is ever fully exempt from risk.
