The association Flechtwerk cordially invites you to the finissage of the exhibition “ForensicK Deeps,” featuring film screenings, the inauguration of the LAYER TALKS, and a carbonite surprise.
Flechtwerk’s LAYER TALKS is a new programme that invites artists, scientists, humanists, and technologists to engage in informal presentations, performances, and discussions with the broader public on topics related to the Earth’s layers and their interconnectedness with our lives. The mission is to promote dialogue regarding the understanding and awareness of the Earth’s deep subsurface through inter- and transdisciplinary formats.
The first series focuses on the accessibility and perception of the subterranean, CO2, and Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), highlighting the importance of communication both above and below ground on topics related to the underground. For the programme, see the link provided.
The Kulturabteilung Stadt Wien and the Austrian Federal Ministry Housing, Arts, Culture, Media and Sports fund the project
