Coffee shops, restaurants, boutique hotels, organic supermarkets with food courts that serve fresh, health-conscious meals, amongst cities that are visible on an international scale, seem all to adapt similar, yet ambiguous visual styles that are somehow familiar yet strangely unsettling. Such scenarios are largely the result of modern urbanity under the ever accelerating speed of globalisation.
The discussion brings together three reseachers from different fields who will present their work. The multi-disciplinary perspectives provide a foundation for the dialogues to evolve into open discussion with the audience.
