Throughout the fifteen years of its history the Studio/Gallery Burggasse 21 has become an important meeting point and culture DNA of avant-garde artists in the 7th district.
During this time there were presented over 500 international and Austrian artists, organized various exhibitions, workshops, performances, and art events. As an open space we see it as our task to encourage experimental and alternative artistic expressions and to act as an intermediary between artists and the public.
To reach a free and vivacious synthesis of contemporary art, we ask artists, whom we have presented before, as well as new ones, to show a significant piece of art. There will be a continuous rotation of works until the end of the exhibition
